The Inauguration of President Judy D. Olian

We celebrated as one Quinnipiac community at the inauguration of President Judy D. Olian on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the People’s United Center on the York Hill Campus.

Wednesday, May 1: Day of Inauguration

11 a.m.–12:15 p.m. — Inauguration Ceremony
Join us for the historic inauguration of Judy D. Olian, Quinnipiac’s 9th president. A variety of refreshments will be available at the ceremony and at the reception.
People’s United Center, York Hill Campus

12:30–1:30 p.m. — Inauguration Community Celebration Reception
Rocky Top Student Center, York Hill Campus

12:30–1:30 p.m. — Splashes of Hope Mural
Participate in our interactive mural painting program. The completed mural will be installed at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital as a gift from the Quinnipiac community.

1:45–3 p.m. — Faculty Talks
A series of three engaging lectures, featuring:

“The Future of American Democracy”
Khalilah Brown-Dean, Associate Professor of Political Science

“The Future of Entrepreneurial Education”
Fred McKinney, Carlton Highsmith Chair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

“Let Food Be Thy Medicine: The Future of Nutrition”

Transportation to the ceremony

If you plan on leaving from the Mount Carmel Campus to attend the ceremony, you may take the Blue or Yellow shuttle from the South Lot. These two shuttles will operate on a continuous loop to the York Hill Campus beginning at 6 a.m. throughout the day. If you’re coming from our North Haven Campus, it is highly recommended you take the 8:30 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. shuttle to get to the ceremony on time.
